By October 2008: All Wisconsin providers must transition to the new ForwardHealth interChange system. Register for ForwardHealth Portal accounts at www.forwardhealth.wi.gov for claim submissions, prior authorizations, and enrollment verification. Update phone numbers - replace old local numbers with new toll-free number (800) 947-9627 for Provider Services. Train staff on new WiCall system (800) 947-3544 for automated claim status and enrollment verification. Failure to transition will disrupt claims processing and prior authorization submissions.
