ForwardHealth interChange system implementation has been postponed from October 13, 2008 to November 10, 2008. This delay affects all Wisconsin Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus, SeniorCare, and Wisconsin Chronic Disease Program providers who need additional time to complete system readiness activities.
Action Required
By November 10, 2008: All Wisconsin providers must complete the following: Report National Provider Identifier (NPI) to ForwardHealth and submit electronic claims with only NPI data, request PIN and establish provider account on ForwardHealth Portal, conduct or verify trading partner authorization testing, designate trading partner for 835 transaction receipt, read all ForwardHealth Updates, and check ForwardHealth website frequently for updates. Disregard previous Updates 2008-149 and 2008-150 regarding original October dates.
