Summary
Wisconsin's ForwardHealth interChange system will replace the existing Medicaid Management Information System in November 2008. All claims and adjustment requests that haven't completed processing during the system transition will be automatically denied and must be resubmitted with new required data formats.
Action Required
Before November 2008: Submit all pending claims well in advance of ForwardHealth interChange implementation OR wait until after implementation to avoid resubmission. After implementation: Resubmit any denied claims using the new ForwardHealth Portal with all newly required data elements. Review program-specific post-implementation updates for revised claim form completion instructions and adjustment request forms.
