Summary
ForwardHealth is now offering Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments to eligible Wisconsin Medicaid providers, allowing direct deposit of payments instead of paper checks. Providers must enroll through the secure Portal and cannot revert back to paper checks once enrolled.

If your practice participates in Wisconsin ForwardHealth programs (BadgerCare Plus, Medicaid, SeniorCare, Wisconsin Chronic Disease Program, or Wisconsin Well Woman Program): Consider enrolling in EFT through the ForwardHealth Portal at www.forwardhealth.wi.gov/. Only Portal Administrators or clerks with EFT role can complete enrollment. Note that enrollment is permanent - you cannot revert to paper checks once enrolled. Allow up to 15 banking days for prenotification process.
