Summary
Effective May 1, 2010, ForwardHealth (Wisconsin Medicaid programs) will stop mailing paper Remittance Advice statements and require providers to access them electronically through the ForwardHealth Portal. Providers must establish secure Portal accounts and transition to downloading RAs in TXT or new CSV formats.
Action Required
By May 1, 2010: Billing team must establish ForwardHealth Portal accounts at www.forwardhealth.wi.gov for each financial payer. Staff must complete training sessions in March 2010 on downloading electronic RAs in TXT or CSV formats. Update billing workflows to retrieve remittance advice from Portal instead of expecting mailed statements. Failure to establish Portal access will prevent access to remittance advice after May 1.
