Summary
Wisconsin Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus, and Wisconsin Chronic Disease Program now allow providers to upload electronic claim attachments directly through the ForwardHealth Portal. This replaces the previous paper-only attachment process and applies to professional, institutional, and dental claims.

By April 19, 2011: Billing team must learn the new electronic attachment upload process via ForwardHealth Portal for Wisconsin Medicaid claims. Update workflow to use portal upload feature for professional, institutional, and dental claims requiring attachments. Ensure attachments are in approved formats (PDF, JPEG, RTF, TXT). For suspended claims, all attachments must be submitted within the same business day to avoid denial.
