By September 1, 2012: Providers must implement tobacco use screening for BadgerCare Plus members in eligible HMOs and counties. Order NicCheck I testing strips (item MA-500-001) for urine cotinine testing. Designate 1-2 staff members as Striving to Quit contacts. Complete referral forms and fax to Quit Line at (877) 554-6643. Submit cotinine test claims to member's HMO. Access training materials at www.ctri.wisc.edu/stq.
