Summary
ForwardHealth will no longer mail prior authorization decisions to providers who submit requests through their online Portal - decisions will only be available electronically via the Portal starting September 15, 2012. Providers must check the Portal for PA decisions and can print or save copies for their records.

Immediately: Staff who submit prior authorization requests via ForwardHealth Portal must check the Portal (not mail) for PA decisions starting September 15, 2012. Train staff to log into Portal daily to view, print, or save PA decision letters. Update PA address on file if submitting requests by mail/fax to ensure proper delivery.
