Summary
Wisconsin's Express Enrollment process for BadgerCare Plus and Medicaid now uses both self-reported information and existing ForwardHealth data for presumptive eligibility determinations. Eligibility results are no longer displayed on the Client Signature page or Application Summary, and temporary ID cards have been updated.
Action Required
Immediately: Staff should verify patient enrollment at time of service using the updated temporary ID cards for Express Enrollment. Check eligibility results only on the Results page and Eligibility Notice, not on Client Signature or Application Summary pages. Update procedures to account for potential changes in enrollment dates and temporary enrollment periods that may end early or be extended.
