Summary
Point32Health will launch new Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Commercial products called National Access EPO (in MA, NH, RI) and National Access (in ME) starting January 1, 2026. These EPO-style plans don't require PCPs or referrals, offer five-state coverage plus UnitedHealthcare's Choice Plus network nationally, but have no out-of-network benefits.
Action Required
Before January 1, 2026: Billing team must update insurance verification procedures to recognize new National Access/National Access EPO ID cards from Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. Train front desk staff that these members have no out-of-network coverage and must stay in-network for all services. Update eligibility verification systems to check network status for these new plan types.
