Summary
Harvard Pilgrim Stride Medicare Advantage plans were discontinued as of January 1, 2025, but claims can still be submitted until December 31, 2025 (365 days from service date). The electronic payer ID 04245 and mail submission PO box will be shut down as part of the closeout process.
Action Required
By December 31, 2025: Billing team must submit all remaining claims for Stride Medicare Advantage members before the runout deadline. Immediately: Stop using payer ID 04245 for electronic submissions and discontinue mail submissions to the Stride PO box as these will be shut down. Refer to the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Stride Medicare Advantage Provider Manual for alternative submission guidance. Claims submitted after December 31, 2025 will not be accepted.
