Summary
Effective February 19, 2026, Optum Specialty Pharmacy will no longer fill fertility prescriptions, with Fuze Health becoming the new dispensing pharmacy for all fertility medications including Cetroreliz, Follistim, Gonal-F, hCG, and others. Patients in active treatment cycles can complete with Optum, but all new prescriptions must go through Fuze Health at 800-305-0542.
Action Required
Before February 19, 2026: Update pharmacy referral processes to direct all new fertility medication prescriptions to Fuze Health (800-305-0542) instead of Optum Specialty Pharmacy. Train staff on the transition rules for patients in active treatment cycles versus new prescriptions. Update patient education materials and pharmacy contact information in EMR templates.
