Summary
Effective March 1, 2026, UnitedHealthcare's non-emergency medical transportation services in Florida regions B, D, and I will transition from United to Medical Transportation Management, Inc. (MTM). All pre-scheduled transportation trips after February 28, 2026 will automatically transfer to MTM with new contact numbers for scheduling.
Action Required
By March 1, 2026: Update contact information for non-emergency medical transportation scheduling. Replace UnitedHealthcare transportation contacts with MTM Customer Service at 1-888-777-6528 for general appointments and 1-888-778-5136 for hospital/facility scheduling. Update staff reference materials and scheduling protocols. No billing code changes required, but transportation coordination may affect patient access to care.
