Summary
Florida Medicaid providers with missing National Provider Identification (NPI) numbers in their provider files must update their information by March 26, 2026. Starting March 27, 2026, an active NPI will be required to submit claims via Direct Data Entry on the Florida Medicaid Provider Secure Web Portal.
Action Required
By March 26, 2026: Florida Medicaid providers must log into the Florida Medicaid Secure Web Portal at http://home.flmmis.com and update their provider file with an active NPI number. Billing team should verify all provider files contain current NPI information. Failure to update will prevent claim submission via Direct Data Entry starting March 27, 2026 and may cause delays in enrollment, renewals, and account access in the new provider enrollment system.
