Effective January 1, 2026, Security Health Plan is removing prior authorization requirements for sleep studies, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, while implementing new prior authorization processes for oncology services through the Eviti platform. Action Required
By January 1, 2026: Billing team must update prior authorization workflows to remove PA requirements for sleep studies, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services. For oncology practices: Implement new Eviti Connect platform for chemotherapy and radiation oncology prior authorizations. Update billing software and staff training to reflect these changes. Failure to adapt to new oncology PA process may result in treatment delays or claim denials.
