Summary
Effective April 1, 2026, all Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for AmeriHealth HMO and AmeriHealth Administrators members will be managed by AmeriHealth Care Management instead of Magellan Healthcare. This changes the management entity for ABA service authorization and coordination.
Action Required
Before April 1, 2026: Billing team must update ABA service workflows to coordinate with AmeriHealth Care Management team instead of Magellan Healthcare for all prior authorizations, case management, and service coordination. Update contact information and referral processes in practice management systems. Notify ABA providers of the transition.
