Summary
Georgia is implementing a new centralized credentialing verification organization (CVO) for Medicaid providers. Starting August 1, 2015, all new Medicaid provider applications must go through this single CVO process instead of credentialing with each individual Care Management Organization separately.
Action Required
By August 1, 2015: All new providers seeking Medicaid enrollment in Georgia must submit credentialing applications through the new centralized CVO web portal at www.mmis.georgia.gov instead of individual CMO applications. Contact HP at 1-800-766-4456 for assistance. By December 1, 2015: All existing providers must transition to CVO for recredentialing - no longer credential through individual CMOs.
