Summary
Effective June 15, 2025, Express Scripts Pharmacy will transfer all home delivery prescriptions for injectable GLP-1 drugs (diabetes and weight management medications like Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy) to a new specialized pharmacy called EnGuide Pharmacy. This affects members with Prime Therapeutics prescription benefits on commercial and Medicare plans.
Action Required
By June 15, 2025: Front desk staff should inform patients filling injectable GLP-1 prescriptions (Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy, etc.) via Express Scripts home delivery that their prescriptions will automatically transfer to EnGuide Pharmacy. No billing system changes required as this is a pharmacy network change, not a coverage or coding change.
