By October 1, 2025: Billing team must update coding systems to include new ICD-10 diagnosis codes C50.A0, C50.A1, and C50.A2 for malignant inflammatory neoplasm of breast. These codes can be used to support medical necessity for breast reconstruction tattooing procedures using CPT codes 11920-11922.
