Summary
The Oregon Health Authority is requiring Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) to complete an annual Drug Utilization Review (DUR) survey for federal fiscal year 2019. CCOs must designate contact persons by March 25, 2020, and submit completed surveys by June 1, 2020. The 2019 survey will include new questions related to SUPPORT Act requirements and will be a fillable PDF format.
Action Required
By March 25, 2020 at 5 PM PDT: Billing team or designated compliance staff must identify one or more primary contact persons for all DUR survey communications. Send name and email address of each contact to CCO.MCODeliverableReports@dhsoha.state.or.us. By June 1, 2020: Designated contact person(s) must monitor email for final survey release notification from OHA and ensure completed DUR survey is submitted to OHA. Review draft 2019 DUR survey and prepare internally to respond to new SUPPORT Act-related questions. This is a compliance/administrative requirement for CCO-contracted organizations only and does not directly impact billing workflows or claim submission.
