Summary

The Oregon Health Authority identified a clerical error in the CCO 2.0 contract (effective October 1, 2019) regarding Practitioner Incentive Plans. The contract incorrectly references a non-existent Exhibit H on Practitioner Incentive Plan Regulation Guidance. Billing teams should disregard the reference to Exhibit H and comply only with the core requirement that no payment can be made to reduce or limit medically appropriate covered services.

Action Required

Action needed
Immediately: Billing and contracting staff should annotate their current CCO 2.0 contract (effective October 1, 2019) to note that the reference to 'Exhibit H, Practitioner Incentive Plan Regulation Guidance' in Section 15 of Exhibit E is a clerical error and should be disregarded. Document this correction in your contract management system. No workflow changes are required at this time. This error will be formally corrected in the 2021 CCO contract. Contact Cheryl Henning (Cheryl.L.Henning@dhsoha.state.or.us) with questions.
