Summary
This is a CMS Drug Utilization Review (DUR) survey requirement for Oregon Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) covering FFY 2019 (Oct 1, 2018 - Sept 30, 2019). CCOs must complete and submit a fillable PDF survey to the Oregon Health Authority by September 1, 2020. This is an administrative compliance requirement, not a clinical or billing code change.
Action Required
By September 1, 2020: If your healthcare practice contracts with an Oregon CCO, the CCO's administrative team (not the billing team) must complete and submit the DUR survey to CCO.MCODeliverableReports@state.or.us. Billing teams should be aware this is a compliance deadline but take no direct action. The survey must be completed as a fillable PDF saved locally (not in browser), with 'Comprehensive MCO' selected for Program Type, using the same business name as the 2018 survey, and containing no proprietary information. This applies only to entities with CCO contracts that operated for at least 6 months during FFY 2019.
