Summary
The Oregon Health Authority is requesting that home health agencies submit their most recent audited or Medicare-submitted Medicare Cost Reports (FY 2018 or FY 2019) by August 5, 2020. This submission is required to support calculation of updated fee-for-service home health rates for Calendar Years 2021-2022. Agencies must submit either Worksheet H-3 (for hospitals) or Worksheet C, Part I (for non-hospitals) from their cost reports.
Action Required
By August 5, 2020: Home health agency CFOs must submit their most recent audited or Medicare-submitted Medicare Cost Report (likely FY 2018 or FY 2019) to saundra.mitchell@dhsoha.state.or.us via secure email. Extract and submit either Worksheet H-3 (for hospitals) or Worksheet C, Part I (for non-hospitals) from the cost report. If the deadline is missed, OHA will use the most current report already available to them, which may result in less favorable rate calculations for 2021-2022. Finance and billing leadership should verify cost report documentation is complete and accurate before submission.
