Oregon Health Authority has established emergency procedures for replacing DME, supplies, and prescription medications lost by Medicaid members in natural disasters. For fee-for-service members, suppliers must submit prior authorization requests marked 'IMMEDIATE' with reason 'EMERGENT REPLACEMENT – FIRE EVAC' for 24-hour review.

Immediately: When Oregon Medicaid fee-for-service members request replacement DME or supplies due to natural disasters, billing team must submit prior authorization requests marked 'IMMEDIATE' with reason stated as 'EMERGENT REPLACEMENT – FIRE EVAC'.
