Summary
Oregon Health Authority has established an expedited process for replacing full and partial dentures lost by Oregon Health Plan (OHP) members during natural disasters (specifically wildfires). Dental providers must coordinate replacements through CCOs/DCOs for managed care members, or submit urgent prior authorization requests marked 'URGENT REPLACEMENT – FIRE EVAC' for fee-for-service members.

Immediately: Dental billing staff must coordinate denture replacement requests through appropriate channels - CCO for CCO members, DCO for DCO members, and for FFS members submit prior authorization requests to OHA marked 'URGENT' with reason stated as 'URGENT REPLACEMENT – FIRE EVAC' for 3-day review. Update workflow to identify disaster-related denture replacement requests.
