Summary
Oregon Health Plan (OHP) now requires coordinated care organizations (CCOs), brokerages, and NEMT providers to provide non-emergent medical transportation for OHP members to alternative sites for COVID-19 vaccine administration. Documentation must be maintained for audit purposes showing transportation services provided for COVID-19 vaccination.
Action Required
Immediately: NEMT providers must transport Medicaid members to nearest local COVID-19 vaccine sites and maintain written documentation of all transportation services provided for vaccine administration for audit purposes.
