Summary
COVID-19 vaccine administration reimbursement rate increased to $40 per dose effective March 15, 2021. CCOs must reprocess any claims submitted after March 15, 2021 that were paid at the previous lower rate.

Immediately: Billing team must reprocess all COVID-19 vaccine administration claims with dates of service on or after March 15, 2021 that were paid at the previous rate to ensure $40 per dose reimbursement. For FQHCs, verify COVID-19 vaccine administration claims are paid at each clinic's encounter rate with supplemental wraparound payments for CCO members.
