Summary
Oregon Health Authority updated MS-DRG grouper software to Version 38, changing 9 Oregon Unique DRG codes for rehabilitation and neonatal care effective October 1, 2020. Hospitals require no action as OHA will reprocess claims automatically, but CCOs must use updated DRG codes for reimbursement.
Action Required
Oregon CCOs only: Immediately update reimbursement systems to use new Oregon Unique DRG codes (1500-1508) instead of old codes (524-532) for rehabilitation and neonatal inpatient claims. Hospitals take no action - OHA will automatically reprocess claims from October 1, 2020 to February 20, 2021.
