Summary
Starting July 1, 2022, Oregon Health Plan (OHP) expanded eligibility to include people ages 19-25 and 55+ regardless of immigration status. Approximately 12,000 CWM and CWM Plus members will automatically transition to full OHP Plus benefits, initially on fee-for-service until they enroll in CCOs around July 11.
Action Required
By July 1, 2022: Billing team should contact local CCOs to ensure patient continuity for transitioning CWM/CWM Plus members. Update front desk staff to recognize new OHP Plus members who may be on temporary fee-for-service coverage between July 1-11. Post informational flyers for patients transitioning to new benefits.
