Summary

Oregon Health Authority is establishing enhanced Medicaid payment rates for integrated treatment of co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders, effective January 1, 2023. Credentialed providers will receive 10-20% rate increases over standard fee-for-service rates, with residential providers receiving 15% increases.

By December 2, 2022: Oregon providers treating substance use disorders and/or mental health disorders should review eligibility to apply for OHA approval to treat co-occurring disorders to qualify for enhanced reimbursement rates (10-20% increases).
