Summary
Oregon Health Plan (OHP) pharmacies can now dispense generic alternatives for Invega® prescriptions effective immediately. Brand formulations can still be dispensed through Dec 31, 2022, but starting Jan 1, 2023, prior authorization will be required for brand Invega®.
Action Required
By Jan 1, 2023: For OHP patients needing brand Invega®, providers must obtain prior authorization by calling Oregon Pharmacy Call Center at 1-888-202-2126. Billing team must use DAW-1 code when submitting claims for approved brand Invega® prescriptions to receive appropriate reimbursement.
