Summary
Oregon Health Authority is implementing EPSDT policy changes for behavioral health providers serving children under 21, requiring documentation of medical necessity and appropriateness for previously non-covered services. Immediately: Update provider enrollment contact information by calling 1-800-336-6016 Option #6 or emailing provider.enrollment@odhsoha.oregon.gov. Review EPSDT Provider Guide at www.oregon.gov/EPSDT to document medical necessity and appropriateness for all services to children under 21. Do not deny services based solely on Prioritized List placement.
