Summary
Oregon Health Authority is extending COVID-19 disaster relief rate increases for developmental disabilities services (5% increase) and home/community-based services wage add-ons through June 30, 2023, past the May 11, 2023 public health emergency end date. These temporary rate extensions address ongoing staffing retention issues.

By March 17, 2023: If practice provides ODDS or HCBS services in Oregon, billing team should submit comments to jesse.anderson@dhsoha.state.or.us regarding rate extensions. Monitor for final approval to ensure continued enhanced reimbursement rates through June 30, 2023.
