Summary
Oregon Health Authority (OHA) will extend COVID-19 enhanced Medicaid rates through June 30, 2023, including a 5% rate increase for developmental disability services and wage add-ons for nursing facilities and home/community-based services. Action Required
By April 21, 2023: If your practice provides developmental disability services or home/community-based services in Oregon, review the extended enhanced Medicaid rates. Monitor for final approval of State Plan Amendments 22-0028 and 23-0005. Update billing expectations for May 12 - June 30, 2023 to reflect continued enhanced rates rather than reverting to pre-COVID rates.
