Summary
Oregon Health Authority will begin enrolling certain individuals in temporary medical assistance categories ("bridge to the bridge" program) starting May 1, 2023, to preserve OHP benefits while awaiting federal approval for a permanent bridge program. CCOs have been provided a crosswalk file to identify these temporary categories in enrollment data files.
Action Required
By May 1, 2023: Billing team should review the OHP Encounter Data information webpage to access the crosswalk file that identifies temporary medical assistance categories in enrollment data files. Monitor enrollment data files for patients with these temporary categories starting April 4, 2023.
