Summary
Effective July 1, 2023, Oregon Health Authority is restricting billing code H0039 (Assertive Community Treatment, face-to-face, per 15 minutes) to only certified ACT providers as defined in Oregon Administrative Rule 309-019-0230. Non-certified providers will no longer be able to bill this code and receive reimbursement.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must verify ACT provider certification status before billing H0039. Only certified ACT providers per Oregon Administrative Rule 309-019-0230 can bill this code. Non-certified providers must stop billing H0039 effective July 1, 2023, as claims will be denied for uncertified providers.
