Summary
Effective July 1, 2023, Citizenship Waived Medical (CWM) members now have full Oregon Health Plan (OHP Plus) benefits through Healthier Oregon and will be enrolled in local coordinated care organizations. The billing team must verify member eligibility and CCO enrollment for these members and ensure proper billing to the appropriate CCO for physical health prescriptions.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must verify member eligibility and CCO enrollment for all former CWM members using the MMIS Provider Portal at https://www.or-medicaid.gov or call 866-692-3864. For members enrolled in a CCO, bill the CCO for all physical health prescriptions instead of fee-for-service billing. Update billing workflows to check CCO enrollment status for these members.
