Summary
Oregon Health Authority has postponed the Transportation Network Company (TNC) pilot program launch from January 1, 2024 to February 1, 2024. Medicaid transportation brokerages can continue using Uber/Lyft services through January 31, 2024, but must participate in the official pilot to continue after that date.

By January 31, 2024: If your practice works with Medicaid transportation brokerages that use TNCs for patient transport, contact Awab Al-Rawe at awab.al-rawe@oha.oregon.gov to confirm brokerage participation in the TNC pilot. After February 1, 2024, only pilot-participating brokerages can arrange TNC rides for Medicaid patients.
