Summary
Oregon Health Authority has established new reimbursement rates for ASAM Level 3.7 R substance use disorder residential treatment services at $647.00 per day, effective immediately. Providers must obtain new NPIs and enroll separately with Oregon Medicaid to bill for these services using codes H0018 and H0019.

Immediately: Fee-for-service IMD providers offering ASAM Level 3.7 R services must apply for a new National Provider Identifier and enroll with Oregon Medicaid using the new NPI. Submit Level 3.7 ASAM certification with enrollment application. Update billing systems to use codes H0018 (up to 30 days) and H0019 (day 31+) at $647.00 per day rate. CCOs must update provider reimbursement schedules and contracts accordingly.
