Oregon Health Authority now offers two options for verifying substance use disorder (SUD) treatment appointments for non-emergent medical transportation brokerages. Option 1 continues member-only confirmation, while Option 2 allows verification with providers who have a Release of Information on file.

Immediately: Transportation brokerages must decide which verification option to use for SUD treatment appointments. If choosing Option 2, ensure providers obtain Release of Information forms from members before conducting appointment verifications. This does not affect billing teams directly.
