Summary
Oregon is ending several COVID-19 billing flexibilities on September 30, 2024, including 'no wrong door' policies for COVID vaccines and therapeutics, and enhanced reimbursement rates. Providers will need to work directly with individual CCOs for non-contracted COVID services starting October 1, 2024.
Action Required
By September 30, 2024: Oregon providers must establish direct billing relationships with individual CCOs for COVID vaccine and therapeutic services to non-contracted patients. Billing team should update procedures to route COVID vaccine administration claims for OHP members under 19 to the regular VFC rate of $21.96 starting October 1. Ensure all COVID vaccine and administration encounter data through September 30, 2024 is submitted to OHA by January 31, 2025.
