CareFirst has updated the referral process for Federal Employee Program (FEP) members requiring Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) care. Providers must now call specific phone numbers (800-360-7654 or 202-479-6444, Option 1) or email FEPCaseMgmtUCP@carefirst.com for all FEP SNF referrals and prior authorizations.
