Summary
Due to a cybersecurity incident at Change Healthcare on February 21, 2024, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield has severed connections with Change Healthcare and requires providers to switch dental claims submission to DentalXChange or Vyne. All dental claims submitted through Change Healthcare since February 21 must be resubmitted through the approved EDI vendors.

Immediately: Stop submitting dental claims through Change Healthcare. Switch dental claims submission to DentalXChange or Vyne EDI vendors. Resubmit all dental claims that were submitted through Change Healthcare since February 21, 2024. Contact your current EDI vendor to reroute claims if they use Change Healthcare as an intermediary.
