Summary
CareFirst has made 1099 IRS Tax Forms available in their Provider Portal's Document Center for tax year reporting. Providers can now log in to view and download their forms by selecting 'Document Center' and choosing 'IRS Tax Forms' from the Document Type dropdown.

Immediately: Billing team and practice administrators should access the CareFirst Provider Portal's Document Center to download 1099 tax forms for tax year reporting. Log in to the portal, select 'Document Center' tab, choose 'IRS Tax Forms' from Document Type dropdown. Note that multiple 1099s may be received if payments were processed through different platforms during the year.
