By October 1, 2020: Billing team must update colonoscopy billing to apply 10% payment reduction for secondary procedures in 45378 family. Stop using phone/fax for inpatient and home health authorizations - use only BCBSLA Authorization Tool in iLinkBlue portal. Update billing software to allow Modifier 59 for specified colonoscopy code combinations (45380-45384, 45380-45385, 45382-45385, 45384-45385). Failure to use online tool will result in authorization requests being redirected.
