Summary
Health Net requires selected Medi-Cal providers in specific California counties to submit medical records for the annual Encounter Data Validation (EDV) study. Datafied will contact selected providers starting February 2020 to schedule medical record retrievals for 411 randomly selected cases from 2018 service dates.
Action Required
When contacted by Datafied: Retrieve and submit requested medical records within the specified deadline. Include records for specific dates of service and nearest DOS within January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018, chart/visit progress notes showing DOS and service descriptions, patient registration/demographic page, and completed tracking sheet.
