Summary
Starting June 16, 2026, Texas Medicaid providers whose revalidation applications are submitted but still under review ('in-flight') will automatically receive a 60-day extension on their revalidation due date. Providers without completed or in-flight applications by their due date will be disenrolled and have claims denied.
Action Required
Before June 16, 2026: All providers must check their revalidation due dates in PEMS and begin revalidation process at least 180 days before due date. Billing team should verify all providers have submitted revalidation applications before their due dates to avoid automatic disenrollment and claim denials. Monitor PEMS daily for revalidation status updates and extension confirmations.
