Action Required

Action needed
For providers screening ACEs in CalViva Health Medi-Cal patients: Complete the two-hour online trauma-informed care training and submit the DHCS Trauma Screening Training Attestation form. Use only approved screening tools (PEARLS for ages 0-19, ACE assessment for adults). Document all completed screenings in patient medical records as they are subject to audit. Limit screenings to once per 12-month period per member (or once per lifetime for ages 21+ ACE screenings).
