Action Required
By June 30, 2020: Providers must complete 2-hour online ACEs training and submit DHCS Trauma Screening Training Attestation form. Billing team must ensure providers have completed training before submitting ACEs screening claims for dates of service after July 1, 2020. Use only approved PEARLS tools for ages 0-19 and ACE assessment tools for adults. Retain all screening forms in medical records for audit purposes.
