Summary
Health Net has implemented a new payment process for Medi-Cal providers in Fresno, Kings, and Madera counties to receive supplemental payments for Prop 56 and other programs from 2017-2020, even without current W-9 forms on file. Providers will receive remittance advice (RA) with these payments, but must still submit W-9 forms for value-based payments.

Immediately: Providers without current W-9 forms on file should submit updated forms to receive value-based payments. Email W-9 to Health Net W9 Submissions with 'Prop 56 W9' in subject line, or fax to 833-794-0423 with cover sheet marked 'Prop 56 W9' and 'PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION'. Billing team should monitor for new remittance advice documents accompanying supplemental payments and reconcile against encounters for physician services, developmental screening, family planning, and sensitive services from 2017-2020.
